Virginia Woolf – The Common Reader – First and Second Series – First UK Editions The Hogarth Press
A set of first edition, first printings published by The Hogarth Press in 1925 and 1932. Comprising: ‘The Common Reader’ - very good+, darkened with the pictorial Vanessa Bell design to the front board. Some foxing to the corners and wear and to the base of the spine. No dust wrapper. ‘The Common Reader - second series’ - a near fine book without inscriptions in a very good unclipped wrapper with some light staining to the spine and a few to the rear panel. Some light wear to the corners and edges. Housed in a custom built slipcase.
